DEREK & THE DOMINOS / LAST GIG (CD + Acrylic stand)
EMPRESS VALLEY RECORDS
The latest remaster of the Dominos' last live performance! Ultra-limited edition with acrylic stand!
High-quality recording of Derek and the Dominos' last live performance at Suffolk Community College in Selden, New York on December 6, 1970! The sound quality is perfect because it is remastered with captain acid, just like the highly popular previous performance of Painter's Mill.
Keep On Growing, which was hardly performed live, is super rare, so fans should check it out. The next song is a familiar selection, but as always, the tight play keeps the listener entertained. Tell The Truth is a super-fast version of the Phil Spector version recorded on the recovered 7-inch! And the bonus acrylic stand is amazing! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! The only word I can say is "cool!" This is a heroic figure of Eric holding a Brownie and stepping on a wah pedal. He looks incredibly cool in his large cape and clear-framed sunglasses with pale blue lenses. This may be my favorite fashion from the Dominoes period. Thanks to the very few photos that capture him from head to toe, this acrylic stand was completed.
Thank you.
