INFORMATION FOR OVERSEAS' COLLECTORS

1985 was a highly productive period for KISS, especially for Gene Simmons. These session recordings prove it, featuring a wide selection of high-quality unreleased material, some of which was later used for the Asylum album.

Many songs, however, remained in the archives and are now emerging nearly forty years later.

Enjoy what feels like an almost completely new KISS album, featuring potential hits such as Nine Lives, Nasty Boys, Hello, Hello, and Keep Your Tail Between Your Legs!

1. Nine Lives
* a song that didn’t make it, fully finished and should had been on Asylum, it’s that great!
2. Secretly Cruel
3. Secretly Cruel (Take 2)
* two different but nearly finished takes.
4. It's Gonna Be Allright (1985 Version)
*this song popped up during the sessions for Gene’s solo album, then as the first song recorded for Creatures of the Night and again here in 1985 for Asylum. Again, and God knows why, it did not make the album.
5. Trial By Fire
*superb raw demo of the album track
6. 100%
* another nearly finished yet unreleased album track.
7. Any Way You Slice It
* raw demo of the album track!
8. Hello, Hello
* unreleased album track.
9. Daily Planet (1985 Version)
* Gene wrote it in 1975, took it out of the archives for Rock And Roll Over, his solo album and propably on other occassions aswell but the KISS road for this song ends here with the Asylum sessions. Gene later offered it to Black and Blue, Silent Rage and Sleeze Beez.
10. What You See Is What You Get
* another quality song in raw demo form, that did not make the albjm.
11. I Have Just Begun To Fight (1985 Version)
Recorded already in the 70’s and here in its 1985 incarnation.
12. Russian Roulette
* The title returned in 2009 on Sonic Boom, the songs is unique though and a typical Gene Simmons mid 80’s composition.
13. Nobody's Perfect (Instrumental)
14. Nobody's Perfect
*Two takes of this song that was also known as Rotten To The Core and eventually also ending up on Sonic Boom aswell (Yes I Know) Nobody’s Perfect in a slightly different version.
15. Take It Like A Man (1985 Version)
* the song from the Lick It Up sessions returned but did not make the album again this time.
16. Keep Your Tail Between Your Legs
* Typical Gene lyrics and composition but didn’t make the album.
17. We Won't Take It Anymore (1985 version)
* Another track from the Lick It Up sessions recycled in a different incarnation.
18. Nasty Boys
19. (You Make Me) Crazy
20. Can You Feel It?
21. Midnight Stranger
* the last four songs are top compositions by our beloved Eric Carr that were dropped in favor of the Gene and Paul compositions. Eric would later propose them to an all female band he managed named Hari Kari with his management and production company Streetgang.
