INFORMATION FOR OVERSEAS' COLLECTORS
The first complete KISS album featuring Vinnie Vincent was recorded in the summer of 1983. This collection offers a rare and unique look into those recording sessions, including very early versions of songs that later appeared on the album.
It also features several songs that did not make the final release, including Take It Like a Man, Lonely Is the Hunter in a different version from the one later released on Animalize, and It Was You Who Left Me. Following I Still Love You, this song can be seen as a second emotional tribute by Paul Stanley to his great but lost love, Donna Dixon.
Part of these sessions has circulated among collectors since the mid-1980s from a poor-quality cassette copy. However, the recordings presented here are on a completely different level in both sound quality and content.
