LED ZEPPELIN - NEWCASTLE 1971 2CD + Pre Order 2 CDR) [Graf Zeppelin]

★Expected to arrive in late October!

★Limited-time pre-orders include a 2CDR featuring a remastered recording of the Led Note '71 Dundee concert!

Live at City Hall, Newcastle, UK, November 11, 1971

★Recorded from the master tapes of the Newcastle concert from the late '71 UK tour!

The sound quality is noticeably better than previous releases due to being recorded from the master tapes!

Also, "That's The Way" is a subtly impressive track; while it's cut at around 5 minutes like previous releases,
the latter part of the song after the cut is included for the first time in a long while!

And surprisingly, about 7 seconds of the post-cut section makes its first appearance!

Previous releases either copied this latter part from the Electromagic version or simply omitted the latter half, so this is a remarkable achievement!

*The title "Teddy Bear's Picnic" comes from Robert's MC on the day.

This Newcastle live performance first appeared in the late '90s as a 1CD with this title.

★Bonus track includes a remastered excerpt of the Dundee concert from the classic Led Note release!

Features the first half of the live performance with minimal imperfections!

The Led Note release had terrible pitch, so this bonus track, with its decent correction, is definitely a must-listen!

The frequent rollercoaster pitch/squeaking noises haven't been completely eliminated, but the overall reference pitch has been roughly corrected to match the overall feel.
You'll likely be surprised by the tremendous pitch distortion in songs like "Whole Lotta" towards the end.
However, the unusually low pitch in the beginning of the Led Note version has been corrected, and that alone makes it quite good.
There are also quite a few cuts, making it a challenge to listen to all the way through, but that's unavoidable.
